New Features in Google Meet

Google Meet continues to add improvements and new features to the Meet platform.

New Host Controls

Meet has added some new controls available to the host of the meeting.

• Mute everyone at once
• Adjust Quick launch settings in Google Calendar (allows others to join before the host)
• Track attendance in Google Meet

Other New features

• Self-check before joining (check your video and peripheral device quality before joining a call)
• Share a tab in Google Chrome (share a single tab from your Chrome browser and easily switch to a different tab)
